The grant is available to dependent children of SCEA members and Agency Fee Payors (not to Religious Objectors, Grandfathered exempt employees or substitutes) for post high school educational costs.
To receive the grant the parent or guardian
should send to the SCEA:
1. the name of the qualifying student,
2. the name of the parent or guardian,
3. the address parent or guardian, and
4. a copy of the tuition payment.

A check for $200 shall be sent by the SCEA Treasurer to the parent or guardian.
The Stanwood Education Association Higher Education Grant is paid one time per each dependent ($200), however it is doubled if both parents or guardians are in the SCEA bargaining unit (total $400).
